Justin (Jay) Aldrich, Chairman of the Board
Jay Aldrich is the CEO of San Fernando Valley Conference & Visitors Bureau. He was associated for over 15 years with the Autry Museum of Western Heritage in Los Angeles as its Tourism and Public Relations Director and has been instrumental in developing a Tourism Department for the Museum. Prior to that, Mr. Aldrich worked with the NBC Studios in Burbank for over a decade with involvement in various functions such as Community Relations, Marketing (specially to Seniors) and Trade Shows. He was with the New England Aquarium in Boston as the Director of Group Services prior to joining the Studios. Mr. Aldrich has been actively involved with Mission Community Hospital as a Member of the Board of Directors with special emphasis on Development and Fund Raising, and was elected as the Chair of the Board effective October 2006.
Robert E. Thompson, M.D., P.C.C.P., Chief of Staff
Dr. Thompson graduated from Hahnemann School of Medicine and completed his Internship, Residency and Fellowship at UCLA. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA and has taught at UCLA for over 17 years. Dr. Thompson is Co-Director of the Intensive Care Unit and Pulmonary Department at Mission Community Hospital.
Heidi Lennartz, CEO
Ms. Lennartz, LCSW, has been in healthcare for over fifteen years; beginning as a volunteer with one of LA Free Clinic's Hotlines. Ms. Lennartz achieved her Master's of Social Work at the University of Southern California specializing in Community Organizing/Public Administration. Pursuant to that, Ms. Lennartz worked as a Social Worker in Physical Medicine/Rehabilitation in New York City. In the early 1990's, she worked in Los Angeles with the AIDS community at Midway Hospital's Immune Suppression Unit, and served on the Board of Directors for The Shanti Foundation. For the next six years, Ms. Lennartz served as Program Administrator for Behavioral Health Services on the San Fernando Campus of Mission Community Hospital. In the spring of 2001, she became Manager of Case Management & Social Service at USC University Hospital. However, she remained with Mission Community Hospital as a member of the Board of Directors. In August 2002, Ms. Lennartz returned to a management role at Mission Community Hospital and was appointed as its CEO in August, 2006.
