Welcome to Mission Community Hospital’s Family Medicine Residency Program! We are an ACGME-accredited residency based in the part of Los Angeles known as the San Fernando Valley. Currently we have 8 first-year residents in our program.

We provide comprehensive Family Medicine education using a collaborative approach with our learners. Our team-based learning environment promotes acquisition of key Family Medicine knowledge and clinical skills. We serve a diverse population of all ages in a variety of in- and out-patient settings. Our residents are expected to provide whole person health care and to participate in scholarly activities.

Residency is challenging. Our program strives to maintain a healthy workplace by using a strong support network of colleagues and curriculum which includes professional skills training, monthly resident support meetings, and Balint groups.
